We all like the Christmas Ship. This is something we've done since moving to Seattle. Some families really like the Santa Train… and that was ok, but we really enjoy the 2.5-3 hour cruise around Lake Washington with two stops for choir concerts.
This year was different than most because:
a) Susan came with us... YAY! We all hope this continues!
a) Susan came with us... YAY! We all hope this continues!
b) We were on a parade follow ship instead of the main Christmas Ship... BOO.. our boat was hanging out at the back so couldn't hear the choir concert, and not even the Hallelujah chorus being blasted or boats blowing their horns.
c) I was on Day 2 after thyroid surgery and feeling a little small... BOO... although it was probably best we were on the low key parade ship this year.
Luke was an enthusiastic participant in the dance contest (he won 3rd place) as well as listening to the Twas the Night Before Christmas story and interacting with Rudolph. They both enjoyed drinking their festive Sprite with blinking flashing "ice cubes". Liz and Susan had more “merry” drinks, while I sucked down Vicodin with my coffee.
