Always happiest to be finishing. Despite being the first triathlon of the year, it was a perfectly warm and sunny day for May 30th. My friend Cheryl did it with me, her first tri. My finish time was 1:58 which included some very long transition times, goofing around while racing, falling on the run course, and being out of shape. Even so, it was such an excellent event, and I look forward to doing it again next year.
