Today Josh and 7 classmates read the book they wrote aloud to a happy audience of parents, siblings, and classmates. Josh was to go first and when Mrs. Galarpe handed him the microphone, he was nervous and a bit shy to get started. So the teacher said he could go last to get warmed up. Boys had stories about Star Wars, girls about horses and unicorns. Josh's story was about Josh and Mama who played Scrabble Jr, and when their house broke, they bought a new one. The kids used an overhead projector to show the pages, and a microphone. Liz, Luke and I were there for the big event. Afterward Josh was all smiles and very proud of his book.
