Friends from my college basketball team and their families came over for lunch and a playdate. Jen and two kids Luke & Allison couldn't stay long because her littlest one Kayla was at home sick, and she didn't want to infect us. I loved meeting her two (the shy 1st grader and the 4 yo "ball of fire" that stuck close to her leg) and catching up, if only for an hour or so.
Sarah & Matt and their two kids Jane & Sam were able to stay longer and eat and visit. Sarah was my roommate for 4 years and Matt and I were throwers on the track team. We had a good laugh talking about the old days of black & white posse's and Humpty, and new days of vasectomies and minivans. We helped eat K's chocolate from Switzerland. What a treat!
Tonight we're off to the Monarch for "fancy dinner". Let's hope the 4 kids can hold it together. Luke that means you!
