I don't know the name or country of origin of the new giant spinning rope carousel at Grass Lawn Park, but am guessing it's made in Germany. It is a whole lot of fun, an engineering marvel, with very little regard for safety.
Here's a video of a couple little girls being flung off of it (Luke is safely holding on in the center.) Fortunately the surface is very forgiving; squishy rubber made to look like wood chips.
