For a Labor Day weekend, it's sure been chilly around these parts. Saturday afternoon we joined 3 families from my Mothers & More group for a family bike ride. We've done this ride a few times before in the evening, and every time it has been a blast for everyone. Josh rides on a trail-a-bike connected to my bike. And Liz pulls Luke in a bike trailer. It's a flat, 14-mi roundtrip along the Sammamish River from Marymoor Park in Redmond to Redhook Brewery in Woodinville. Maybe that's why it was so enjoyable... a couple of pitchers at the halfway point! :) The sun came out, and it really ended up being a glorious day!
The ride can be very relaxing, especially for Luke. At first he was saying "faster, faster"... but not far into it, both ways, he zonked out completely.
