Tonight was the first Concert on the Green in Issaquah. While we listened to 50s music from our lawn chairs, Luke and Josh slid down the grassy hill on cardboard with all the other kids. Last summer Luke wanted to run away from us at every opportunity. This time he carried his own cardboard up the hill and slid down over and over... taking a break just long enough to get a drink and dance. Josh thoroughly enjoyed the hill too, until he got beaned in the head at the end. Frankly I'm surprised that was the only injury. Next time I'm bringing band-aids and an ice pack.
