We rented a pontoon boat to explore Lake Havasu al known as the Colorado River. It was sunny but cold and windy, not unlike the other days we had in Arizona. We had nightcrawlers, a fishing license, a stocked cooler, a picnic lunch, 
and warm jackets. I started off as captain, merely making suggestions with the wheel trying to steer in the choppy current. Jerome figured out how to beach the boat, and we made a few great stops. Once for a bathroom under the London Bridge where Luke did a face plant into the water. Next we stopped on a super cool island for some hiking, fishing, and another bathroom break. We went a little farther south and found another cove to fish from, but whereever we dropped a pole, ne'er a fish was found. Paul, aka the Emperor, read his 3rd book on the boat trip. By the time we headed through the London Bridge channel, we were all wind-whipped. The Fun Time rental guy came and picked us up and we went out for a delicious steak dinner. Paul missed the beginning of Survivor, so he was 0 for 2 for shows. We were supposed to play more bridge that night, but not sure what happened. Oh yeah, kids happened.
