His favorite foods are: rice, chicken noodle soup, and Gorilla Munch cereal. He sleeps in a bottom bunk (with his brother on up), usually with a crank-up led flashlight by his side.
His favorite books are Jungle Book 2, any Dora book, the one about little girl pirates, and Little People Farm. He yells "FROG! FROG!" when he wants to go up to bed and he wants be hopped up the steps).
Some of his cutest phrases: "No wake up baby Mathfew. No wake up bats!" (when we're in the hot tub at night), "Walrus? Oooooh I LIKE IT!" (This pertains to anything super cool.), "I love you, mama" (gets him anything he wants). He's quite chatty and enjoys the sound of his own, usually loud, voice. His favorite song is "Old McDonald" where he interjects his favorite animal or inanimate object that's on the farm "My turn!", and busts out EIEIO at 100 decibels. While walking by an Abercromie and Fitch store this week, he had to dance and wiggle to the music. Sometimes I'm afraid we have a frat party boy in the making.
Luke already has a "most embarrassing moment" now. Last week he shoved a small, flat, round, red Lego 'stud' up his nose. He said, "Lego in me! It hurts!" And sure enough, the Lego was so far up that we needed his pediatrician to remove it while a nurse and I held him down. Perhaps it's also a "most negligent mother moment" for me as well. It's a good thing he can communicate as well as he can. And since I know you're wondering... I lost the retrieved Lego already.
